I’ve had a few cleaners out, and Jeanette’s work was superior to anything I’ve previously experienced. When Jeanette brought me to see the back rooms they’d cleaned, I immediately felt the difference, then she showed me photos of some of the details they’d taken care of, like vacuuming the slats on the closet, and using cr to shine the fixtures in the bathroom. But the main thing I noticed was that the house felt wonderful when they were done, and it still does. I hope to use this service again.
I also want to mention how nice Jeanette is. I was just very, very happy to have her and her team in my home and that’s saying a lot.

Where our standard comes from
Mama Gina set the standard
Long before Good Heart Homes had a name, our family had Mama Gina. She came to the United States from Peru later in life, worked hard to become a U.S. citizen, and built the life she had dreamed of.
She helped raise her whole family, Jeannette’s two kids included. While her children worked and her grandchildren were at school, she would come over to cook, clean, do the laundry and keep the house running. It was her way of giving her family a little relief, and it taught us that a well-kept home is where a happy family starts.
In her last years Mama Gina fought stage 4 glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer, and lived two years longer than her doctors expected. We took care of her the way she had always taken care of us.
Her memory lives on in this company, and in our llama: Llama Llina is named for her.
From family rentals to Good Heart Homes
Mama Gina’s standard went into our family’s rental homes. For more than 25 years we cleaned, repaired and turned them over between tenants, which is how we learned exactly what a landlord’s move-out inspection looks for, and how much a truly clean home changes the way a place feels.
In 2023 Jeannette opened Good Heart Homes to Gainesville, with an idea from her own years as a UF parent: when you can’t be there, you need someone you trust to make sure your family’s home is clean and healthy. Our crew is small, insured and background-checked, so the same careful people come back to your home.
Our red-and-gold colors come from Peru, where our family is from. In the Andes, llamas carry the load — steady, dependable and part of everyday family life. That’s the kind of company we want to be for your home.
